(9b/100) MANDARIN SHERBET CORDIAL RECIPE
This is the recipe for our homemade mandarin sherbet cordial… a take on my grandma Jeannie’s lemonade - delicious with sparkling water and also used in our Christmas cocktails.
INGREDIENTS ~
500ml mandarin juice (can also use lemon or lime)
500g caster sugar
500ml water
7.5g citric acid
7.5g tartaric acid
METHOD~
Dissolve sugar and water over low heat.
Add fruit juice and slowly bring to boil.
Stir in citric and tartaric acid and leave to cool
Store in sealed sterilised glass bottles for up to one month.
